Landcape Gardening Guildford:
Brief: The area to be designed was a small rear garden that sloped away from the house, the garden was overlooked by the surrounding properties.
The brief was to create a seating area which would be used for entertaining within a low maintenance gravel garden. The plants around the seating area were chosen for their scent. For the seating area I decided to sink the decking, so that when one sat either in a chair or on the sleeper wall only the houses immediately to the left and right could be seen., this took care of the privacy angle. A series of sleeper steps wind through the gravel to the sunken seating area.
